	Bernie is a gorgeous fellow with a shiny black coat.  In the picture below (right) you will notice a unique feature about Bernie - he sports a "mohawk" from between his ears to part way down the top of his neck.  Bernie is a very happy boy who loves attention and gets along with everyone.  Currently, he is being fostered with multiple greyhounds.  Before he came to the Tri-State, Bernie was in a foster home in Florida with another greyhound and a cat so we think he is going to be a great candidate for a lot of different families. Bernie is not living with younger children at this time but he does seem drawn to them when out and about.  The only issue one might have is his size and playfulness (would need to watch that he doesn't accidentally knock a toddler over.)  Bernie crates well, is becoming very interested in toys but above all, seems to be the happiest when getting attention from his people!
